The Greater Kruger National Park is an area blessed with substantial wildlife. The Balule nature reserve holds high natural densities of Africa’s Big Five – elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo, lion and leopard.

Capturing incredible live moments

The nomad camera is a live animal cam capturing a wildlife stream from a camera installed on a vehicle. The mobile live nature cam captures incredible live moments from different areas in the Greater Kruger.

When an elephant approaches a basking crocodile

A large Nile crocodile basks in the sun on the banks of a river. A large breeding herd of elephants are slowly making their way through the bush.

The elephants get a surprise as they walk around the corner, where a crocodile lies waiting with its mouth open toward the sun.

As each elephant passes, they seem quite surprised at the sight of the crocodile, and change paths quite quickly to avoid confrontation.
